LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The city of Jeffersontown is partnering with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive to celebrate America's 250th anniversary.
The annual Stars, Stripes and Pints blood drive is happening June 30 and July 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Jeffersonian, located at 10617 Taylorsville Road.
According to the organizers, the blood drive is meant to honor the country's "spirit of helping others."
Participating donors will receive a Broaster chicken dinner, a Six Flags or Kings Island ticket, and a Red Cross and Looney Tunes T-shirt.
