LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Louisville Zoo celebrated one of its gray seals Tuesday. 

It's Boone 17th birthday.

The zoo said Boone is the father of the new seal pup who was born Dec. 28. 

Boone's father, Spike, was the pup of Lucy and Snoopy, who were the first seals the Louisville Zoo had when they opened in 1969.
