LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — This year's Thunder Over Louisville theme honors the nation's 250th anniversary.
Kentucky Derby Festival officials announced Monday that this year's theme will be "Thunder in the USA."
From the music to the fireworks to military aircraft involved, it'll be a celebration of all things red, white and blue.
"We'll celebrate America in only a way that Thunder can do and that celebration starts in the skies above us," KDF President Matt Gibson said.
The 37th year of Thunder Over Louisville is scheduled for Saturday, April 18.
