LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The University of Kentucky baseball team has won all six of its NCAA Tournament games, including its College World Series opener against North Carolina State last Saturday.

Texas A&M is also 6-0 during its NCAA run, including a 3-2 victory over Florida on Saturday night.

On Monday night, when the Wildcats and Aggies play their second round game, one team will remain unbeaten and have a clear path to the CWS final series. The other will find itself in the losers' bracket.

Here's how to watch and what to look for Monday:

Time/Place: 7 p.m., Charles Schwab Stadium, Omaha, Nebraska.

TV: ESPN.

Stakes: Winner will advance to a game at 7 p.m. Wednesday in its double-elimination pool. The loser must play at 6 p.m. Tuesday against either North Carolina State or Florida. The Gators and Wolfpack play an elimination game at 2 p.m. Monday.

Records: Kentucky (46-14) is ranked No. 2 in the NCAA Ratings Percentage Index (RPI) computer formula as well D1 Baseball poll. The Aggies (50-13) are No. 3 in RPI and No. 4 in the D1 poll. UK went 22-8 in Southeastern Conference play while the Aggies were 19-11. The teams did not meet during the regular season or SEC Tournament.

The Aggies lead the overall series 13-8 and have won seven of the last 10 against the Wildcats.

The odds: At DraftKings, the Aggies are favored by 1.5 runs. If you bet $100 on UK to win, you'll win $100. The over/under on runs scored is 9.

Record Last 10 Games: UK 7-3; A&M 7-3.

Starting Pitchers: Kentucky will use sophomore Mason Moore, who is 9-3 this season. A right-hander, Moore has struck out 80 hitters in 87 2/3 innings. He sometimes struggles with control, walking 51 batters and hitting another dozen. That explains his 4.93 earned run average.

A&M will use Ryan Prager, who was the Aggies' ace for most of the season. Prager is a lefty. He has won eight of nine games, striking out 114 hitters in 87 innings with only 19 walks and four hit batters. His ERA is 3.10. But Prager struggled in the Aggies' Super Regional opener against Oregon when he allowed six runs in 1 2/3 innings.

Big Stick Kentucky: St. Xavier High School product Ryan Nicholson has delivered big numbers for the Wildcats after transferring from Cincinnati. Nicholson, a first baseman who bats left-handed, leads the team with 22 home runs and 62 RBIs.

Big Stick A&M: Aggies' outfielder Braden Montgomery is projected to be a top-10 pick in the 2024 MLB Draft but Montgomery suffered a leg injury during the Super Regional and is out for the season. A&M has another masher in outfielder Jace Laviolette, a sophomore. Of his 47 extra base hits, 27 are home runs. He has also driven in 77 runs while also drawing 59 walks.

A&M coach Jim Schlossnagle on UK (via 247Sports): "They can do everything: hit the ball out of the ballpark, run, bunt, put a lot of pressure on you, throw strikes, play defense.

"But we are not bad. You know, we will show up. I have watched them play on television, and they have an awesome synergy about them, too. You can see that, playing with a lot of confidence like us. I think we are playing with a lot of confidence, and we have some neat character in our club, too."

UK coach Nick Mingione: "It is an absolute joy and pleasure to coach these guys, because we started out 14-1 in the league. That is, like, next to impossible. It's next to impossible."
