Alfred Hitchcock could not have scripted a more horrifying start to the college football season than the 34-6 loss that Indiana endured at Iowa Saturday afternoon.
Both games were over in the first 15 minutes — or less. Both teams lost the turnover battle, the yardage battle, the penalty battle, the public relations battle and other battles that decide football games.
Normally, the gates open 90 minutes before a game but IU wants to give spectators the opportunity to avoid long lines when entering the stadium.
