Last week, the university announced it would be mandatory that all students, faculty and staff get a COVID-19 vaccine.
The back and forth centers around a bill, passed by lawmakers in March, that would have given legislators more power to intervene during public emergencies.
They claim the mandatory vaccine requirement adds more strain on businesses and agencies who are already dealing with a worker shortage and supply chain issues.
