LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A person was killed and another injured in a crash on Bardstown Road in southern Jefferson County.
Louisville Metro Police responded to a two-car crash at Bardstown Road and Schlatter Road around 6:30 p.m. Friday, LMPD spokesperson John Bradley said. That's north of Glenmary Village Boulevard.
Bradley said the driver of one car was transported to UofL Hospital where they later died. The driver of the other car was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Bradley said.
LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating. Northbound Bardstown Road near Schlatter Road is still closed at this time.
