LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A person is dead after a shooting near Crums Lane in Shively.

According to Shively Police Sgt. Jordan Brown, the shooting happened in the area of Crums Lane and Valley View Drive. That's off Dixie Highway near 7th Street Road.

The victim was pronounced dead, Brown said.

No other information was immediately available.
