LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — There is a new fire chief at Anchorage Middletown Fire and EMS.
Patrick Walsh has been named the department's new fire chief, the department said in a release Friday. Walsh brings 28 years of experience in fire service leadership and management.
"I am honored to take on the role of Fire Chief for Anchorage Middletown Fire and EMS,” Chief Walsh said in the release. “I look forward to working alongside the talented team of firefighters, staff, and community leaders at AMFEMS who are committed to the highest levels of public safety and community responsibility.”
Chief Walsh was most recently Fire Chief of McMahan Fire Protection District where he turned the departments budget deficit into a surplus. He has also served as General Manager of Fire Investigations at National Fire Experts.
