Baptist Health to use robots to diagnose cancer (2).jpeg

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Robots will soon help diagnose and treat lung cancer in patients at five Baptist Health hospitals.

The healthcare group will begin using a robotic device to perform minimally invasive lung cancer diagnosis. It helps doctors safely and quickly access deeper parts of the lung.

It will be used at Baptist Health Louisville, Hardin, Lexington and Paducah.

Baptist Health Floyd started using it last month.
