LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --Â A nationally recognized Champagne bar in Louisville's Clifton neighborhood is closing.
Isaac Fox, owner of The Champagnery, said in a social media post that "this decision to leave the retail side of service has been one to best serve me and my family."
The Louisville bar features Champagne and sparkling wines from around the world.
Fox took over the bar in 2024 from longtime owners Charlotte and Brad Stengal after serving as general manager.
The Champagnery was named by the Champagne Bureau as one of the top 10 best Champagne bars in the U.S. in 2022. Opened in 2018, The Champagnery at 1764 Frankfort Avenue brought a new concept to Louisville.
The bar reopened in 2024 after temporarily closing for a year to strengthen the operations of the bar.
