LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- McDonald's is doing it again - lowering the price of some combo meals as more and more customers don't want to pay $10 for their lunch.
It all started a little over a year ago after some social media posts of an $18 Big Mac meal and a $20 lunch at Five Guys went viral.
Fast food restaurants responded to customer unhappiness by cutting prices on meal deals.
McDonald's launched a $5 meal deal with a McChicken or McDouble, a four-piece nugget, fries, and a drink.
Burger King responded with a similar $5 your way meal. Wendy's countered with $3 breakfast meals. Now, McDonald's is raising the bar again.
Two months after bringing back its low-priced chicken snack wrap, the chain announced it is lowering the price of eight popular combo meals.
Stick with the meal deals and you can really get a fast food bargain, for the first time in several years.
