LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- For the past several years, shoppers have seen so many cases of shrinkflation - grocery products getting smaller and smaller.

But now, some snack food makers are saying they are starting to reverse it.

The website "Consumer World" has shown so many cases the past few years, from smaller cereal boxes to paper towels.

But now, Tostitos, Ruffles, and some other Pepsico brands say they are adding more chips and reversing the trend.

The company is now offering "bonus bags" that contain 20% more chips inside.

The new trend may not be long term, and some shoppers are thinking it is just a temporary promotions only involving some bags.

If you see a bigger bag of your favorite snack, be sure to grab it, as it may not be around as long as you think!
