LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Health inspectors are going back into two Louisville Kroger stores that were asked to clean after complaints about mice at both locations.
The Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness said inspectors will revisit the locations on Goss Avenue and La Grange Road Friday and Saturday.
While the two stores got "A" ratings on their last inspections, the health department said that's for areas where food is handled and prepared, such as the deli and meat counters.
Officials said complaint investigations are different.Â
The Kroger on Goss Avenue in Louisville reopened Monday after it closed last weekend because of a rodent infestation in three aisles, including bread and pasta products.
At the La Grange Road store, the health department investigated and didn't find live mice — but did find mouse droppings.
Kroger has not yet responded to a questions about the latest inspections.
