LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb will join local leaders in Jeffersonville on Thursday for the announcement of a major economic development project in Clark County.
It's called "Project Slugger."
"It's gonna, probably be the biggest announcement ever made out of Jeffersonville, Clark County. It's big," Jeffersonville Mayor Mike Moore said Wednesday.
Moore said the project has been in the works since 2019. Specific details about the project aren't being released yet, but the mayor said the company is very well-known. He said it will be a great partner for local schools, and will provide significant benefits to the area.
