LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A water tower in Lebanon, Kentucky, painted with a Maker's Mark mural is running for "Tank of the Year."

The water tower is on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. It is going up against hundreds of other tanks across the U.S., including 11 others from Kentucky. The Maker's Mark mural was painted by Eric Henn.

People can vote for their favorite over the next two weeks.

There are a dozen water towers in Kentucky featured in the contest at locations including Bloomfield, Calvert City, Fordsville, Harrodsburg, Lebanon, Maysville, Paducah, Richmond, Russellville, Schochoh community, Sedalia and Yelvington.

Voting closes on Oct. 13 and the tank of the year is announced on Oct. 20. To vote, click here.
