LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville restaurant has closed the doors of its Bardstown Road location after 10 years.

LouVino closed the Highlands spot on Thursday, according to a post on the restaurant's social media pages.

"We are exploring efforts to convert the Highlands LouVino into an exciting new concept that alights with our expanding portfolio, allowing our LouVino team to focus all their efforts on our growing location in Douglass Hills/Middletown," the post read.

Bardstown Road has seen several business closures over the last few months, but others are seemingly expanding. Last month, Holy Grale on Bardstown Road purchased the neighboring "triangle property," though it's unclear what the plans are for the property.

Businesses have also left the area, including Pivot Brewing, and Nostalgic Restaurant and Cocktail House, which closed after about 18 months in business in July.

"We are deeply grateful for the unwavering support of our loyal customers and the dedication of our incredible staff throughout this journey," LouVino's post continued. "Thank you for making LouVino Highlands a cherished part of the community."

LouVino has two other locations, including a Louisville one on Main Street in Middletown and one in Cincinnati.
