LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Taj Louisville closed its doors but are planning to build a new location.
According to a post on social media, Taj in NuLu closed its doors indefinitely at 807 E. Market St. due to "the sudden loss of our lease."
But the bar plans to build a new Taj location just one property over at 809 E. Market St. with a back patio that spans 809 and 811 E. Market St.
"This isn’t just a move—it’s a chance to reinvent Taj while staying true to the spirit of what’s made it legendary," the post reads. "New beginnings are coming, and we can’t wait to raise a glass with you soon. If you liked the former Taj, you're gonna love the new and improved one."
It's unknown at this time when construction will begin.
