New Albany's The Exchange to open 2nd location inside Hotel Genevieve in NuLu

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Just a week after the closure of a NuLu restaurant, its replacement was announced.

The popular New Albany, Indiana, restaurant, The Exchange, will open in the former Byrdie's inside Hotel Genevieve, which announced its closure last week after only a year. The location will be known as The Exchange NuLu.

"The energy in NuLu is unmatched, and we're excited to bring our menu across the bridge and join such a welcoming and exciting community," Ian Hall, found of The Exchange, said in a news release Wednesday.

This will be the second location for The Exchange. The first opened in 2011 in downtown New Albany.
