LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville's newest steakhouse is now open.

Gaucho Urbano Brazilian Steakhouse opened earlier this month in east Louisville. It's located at the site of a former car lot at 2103 S. Hurstbourne Parkway near Taylorsville Road.

According to our partners at Louisville Business First, the restaurant held a soft opening on Dec. 3.

The eatery is owned and managed by Brazilian natives Vilmar and Renata Zenzen, who also own two restaurants on Fourth Street Live in downtown Louisville -- Brazeiros Authentic Brazilian Steakhouse and Benfinita Modern Italian.

This is Gaucho Urbano's second location. Its first location opened in 2018 in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Gaucho Urbano provides authentic rodízio-style dining, with an all-you-can-eat rotating meat buffet. The meats are complemented with a Chef's Table and Harvest Bar.

The bar's wine list features more than 12-dozen labels and a selection of Kentucky bourbon and handcrafted cocktails -- including the popular Brazilian caipirinha.

With Gaucho Urbano's opening, Louisville now has three Brazilian steakhouses: Texas de Brazil opened in November near Zappos at the front of Mall St. Matthews. Brazeiros Louisville opened on 4th Street Live! in 2014.
