LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new luxury apartment community is coming to Okolona.
Denton Floyd Real Estate Group and LDG Development partnered to build Shepherd Springs, a 260-unit apartment community. It will be located at 8016 Shepherdsville Road in Okolona, near the Jefferson Mall, according to a news release Tuesday.
The apartment community will feature luxury one, two and three-bedroom units.
It's being built to cater to workers in three nearby business parks as the area continues to grow, according to the release.
"We've witnessed remarkable growth in this part of Louisville, and we're proud to deliver high-quality housing that blends luxury with everyday convenience for the local workforce," Brandon Denton co-founder and partner of the Denton Floyd Real Estate Group said in a news release.
Plans for the property call for a community clubhouse with an expansive 10-foot NanaWall (folding glass walls), resort-style heated saltwater pool, as well as fire pits, gourmet grilling stations, 24-hour state-of-the-art fitness center with a yoga room, express market, micro office spaces, coffee bar, meditation pod, bike repair room, children's playground, pet spa, pet park, car wash, and EV charging stations.
The estimated completion date for the luxury development is March 2027, according information on the Denton Floyd website.
