LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A fast casual restaurant will open a previous Asian fusion restaurant on Bardstown Road, according to our partners at Louisville Business First.Â
Playa Bowls will open its third location in Louisville this summer. It will be located in a space that previously housed The Joy Luck at 1285 Bardstown Road.
The Joy Luck permanently closed its two locations in Louisville earlier this month.Â
Playa Bowls specializes in bowls containing superfoods like acai, pitaya, chia pudding and more. People can also pick toppings like fruit, granola and nut butters. Smoothies and juices are also on the menu.
The new location will be owned by Sarah Cook, who is a multi-unit Playa Bowls franchisee in Louisville and Middletown. It will be the third Playa Bowls location.
