LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Seelbach Hilton has opened a new restaurant, Gatsby's on Fourth, in the former Otto's Cafe space on the historic hotel's first floor.

The restaurant opened Oct. 29, according to the hotel's Facebook page. The hotel issued a press release Tuesday announcing the new restaurant.

Part of a multi-million dollar renovation, the new casual eatery offers "a diverse and extensive menu that features traditional American classics infused with local, seasonal ingredients," according to the press release.

It opens at 6:30 a.m. on weekdays and at 7 a.m. on weekends, with service through 11 p.m. each night.

The 'Gatsby' name is a "tribute to the hotel's historic heritage. Built in 1905, hotel was a landmark for 'the golden era' with its grand ambiance inspiring author F. Scott Fitzgerald to use The Seelbach as a backdrop for Tom and Daisy Buchanan's wedding in American literary classic, The Great Gatsby."
