LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified a man and woman on a motorcycle killed in a crash with a vehicle Thursday evening in the Beechmont neighborhood.

Louisville Metro Police spokesperson John Bradley said officers responded to the area of Taylor Boulevard and Arling Avenue on a crash involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle at 10 p.m. That's right in front of Iroquois High School. 

Police said a truck turning west onto Arling Avenue from northbound Taylor Boulevard crashed into a motorcycle that was heading south on Taylor.

The man, who was driving the motorcycle, died at the scene, and a woman, who was a passenger on the motorcycle, died at the hospital.

The coroner's office identified the man and woman on Friday morning as Roger Pendleton, 51, and Amanda Upshaw, 32. Both died of blunt force injuries. 

The driver of the truck wasn't injured and remained on scene. Police said no charges are anticipated.

LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating.
