LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One man was killed and three others were injured in a shooting late Monday night in Fern Creek. 

Louisville Metro Police received a call around 11:40 p.m. for a shooting in the 5500 block of Overbrook Woods Place, according to a news release from LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellise. Upon arrival, officers located a man outside suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Ellis said officers tried to save the victim, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers also located two other men suffering from gunshot wounds. In an email update Tuesday morning, Ellis said another gunshot victim was found in an apartment at the shooting location and taken to UofL Hospital. 

All three are expected to survive, Ellis said. 

LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting, but there aren't any known suspects.
