LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 10-year-old girl was taken to the hospital after an accidental shooting in Louisville's California neighborhood Saturday afternoon.
Dwight Mitchell, a spokesman for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded on a reported shooting in the 2200 block of Osage Avenue just before 1:30 p.m.
Police said a girl had a graze wound "from what appears to be an accidental discharge from a gun."
She was taken to Norton Children's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and all parties have been accounted for.
