LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 16-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday in connection with a February shooting in Louisville's Chickasaw neighborhood.

The shooting happened around 7 a.m. Feb. 18 in the 3500 block of Greenwood Avenue, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department. That's near Grand Avenue and South 36th Street.

Once on scene, officers found a 16-year-old boy who had been shot. He was taken to UofL Hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening. Police have not provided an update on the teen's condition. 

On Thursday, police said another 16-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday in connection with the shooting. He faces charges of assault, receiving stolen property, tampering with physical evidence and criminal mischief. The teen is not being identified because he is a juvenile.

LMPD said more arrests are expected in the case as the investigation continues.
