LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — An 18-year-old was arrested in connection to a September shooting in Louisville's Russell neighborhood.

Louisville Metro Police arrested Rodshawn Taylor on Thursday, charging him with assault, department spokesperson Aaron Ellis said.

Taylor is charged in the non-fatal shooting that happened Sept. 21 in the 2700 block of West Madison Street.  

Taylor is currently being held in Louisville Metro Corrections, and is scheduled to be in court on Friday.
