LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two people arrested in connection to the death of a 35-year-old woman found dead in a burned-up house in Spencer County were indicted on complicity to murder charges.
Christiana Angel Walker was found dead inside a home in May 2023, but a cause of death hasn't been released.
In September, Kentucky State Police arrested 22-year-old Kimberly Walton and 39-year-old Edet Wettee in connection with Walker's death. According to KSP, Wettee was Walker's husband, and Walton was an "acquaintance" of Wettee.
Wettee was indicted on a complicity to murder charge and is being held on a $1 million cash bond. Walton was also indicted on a complicity to murder charge and is being held on a $500,000 cash bond.
They are both scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 18.
Walker's family doesn't know who Walton is but believes Wettee adopted Walker's biological child two weeks before she died.
"I think from day one it was planned," Wanda Carpenter, Walker's aunt, said in September.Â
