LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A southern Indiana man was arrested on child pornography after a year-long investigation.
Indiana State Police began an investigation in July 2024 into 22-year-old Eric S. Crawford, of Hardinsburg, after reports of alleged child sexual abuse in Washington County, the agency said in a release Wednesday.
ISP obtained a search warrant for Crawford's social media account, resulting in thousands of files to review, the release said. While reviewing the files, police discovered another juvenile victim unrelated to the initial investigation.
Crawford was arrested on Tuesday, charged with three counts of possession of child pornography. He is currently being held in the Washington County Jail without bond.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, Nov. 20.
