LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A second person was arrested in connection to the murder of a Louisville jail officer.

According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, 36-year-old Anthony Trabue was arrested and charged with murder in the shooting death of Michael Wehdah, an officer at the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections.

Police said the arrest came Thursday morning after a brief standoff in the 2700 block of Cedar Street.

This is the second arrest in connection to the homicide. Kristy Brumley, 35, was arraigned earlier this week and a $250,000 bond was set.

Brumley admitted to LMPD officers she was involved in his murder, according to an arrest citation. She told police she brought Wehdah to the location where the shooting occurred and "was present when the victim was shot by a known co-defendant."

She told police she took Wehdah's car and phone "for the purpose of concealing and or destroying evidence."

Brumley is charged with complicity to murder. The judge also said Brumley has several outstanding warrants in Pulaski County and at least one in Jefferson County.

According to an arrest warrant, Brumley identified Trabue as the shooter.

Maj. Jason Logsdon with LMDC said in a statement:

"LMDC would like to publicly thank LMPD for the arrest of Kristy Brumley and Anthony Trabue, in connection with the murder of LMDC Ofc. Michael Wehdah.  We appreciate all of the hard work LMPD has put into this investigation and their continued commitment for seeking justice – it is an important step in the healing process for the Wehdah family, as well as the staff at LMDC."
