LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man has been arrested in connection to a shooting that took place Oct. 15, 2024 in the Algonquin neighborhood.
LMPD responded to a shooting in the 1600 block of Brashear Drive, near West Hill Street, around 5:23 p.m. Once police arrived on scene, they found a man who had been shot in the stomach, back, leg and arms, according to LMPD Sgt. Matt Sanders.
Sanders said the man was alert and conscious while being taken to the hospital.
Police said early Saturday morning that 45-year-old Haneef Kaleem, who also goes by Kalvin Irvin, was arrested in connection to the shooting.
He's been initially charged with assault, wanton endangerment and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
