LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police arrested two people after an incident Tuesday at the Meade County Courthouse.

The Meade County Sheriff's Office said it was called to the Circuit Court Clerk's Office on a report that "the ladies that work in the office were fearful of the situation." Chris Reiter and Tiffany Napier were in the clerk's office at the time to get documents for an upcoming court case, they said.

Investigators said the couple started getting loud and disruptive and refused to follow instructions. They were then arrested, the sheriff's office said.

Reiter told WDRB News on Thursday that his girlfriend was live streaming the whole time and he's very disturbed by the behavior and actions of the chief and his deputies. You can watch her video below:

The sheriff's office said the two weren't arrested because they were recording.

"It appears at this time that one or more people were causing a disturbance by recording personnel and asking questions in an uncivil manner," the sheriff's office said in a news release Thursday. "We strive provide the best possible service to citizens and will continue to do so. The safety of all is of our upmost importance."

Reiter and Napier are charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
