LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man sustained critical injuries after a police shooting in Owensboro, Kentucky, on Saturday morning.
Kentucky State Police said troopers were contacted just after 4 a.m. CST for an incident in the 500 block of Orchard Street.
According to a preliminary investigation, multiple officers with the Owensboro Police Department responded to a disturbance call. A man inside the residence with a knife threatened officers and others.
Multiple officers fired shots and the man sustained critical injuries but is in stable condition. There weren't other injuries.
KSP troopers are investigating the shooting.
