LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 15-year-old boy accused of raping a 7-year-old in southern Indiana is expected back in court this week.

Landon Doty, of North Vernon, is accused of sexually assaulting and raping a non-verbal child with autism. Police said the crime happened on a Jennings County school bus over the course of several weeks.

School bus video reportedly captured several incidents. Court documents show a school bus monitor noticed Doty pushing the 7-year-old off his lap April 17, and the bus monitor told officials to review the video.

Doty's lawyer has filed a motion to reduce his current bond of $250,000, and a hearing for that is scheduled for Thursday, July 24. In addition, a change a venue motion hearing is scheduled for Aug. 15.

Doty is charged with 12 counts including two counts of rape, two counts of attempted rape and child molesting. He is being held at the Jennings County Jail.
