LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A juvenile was arrested after a man was shot April 12 while sleeping in his living room in Louisville's Okolona neighborhood.

According to court documents, Louisville Metro Police officers responded to the 4900 block of Lagoona Drive for a reported shooting. Officers found a man who had been grazed by a shot fired into the living room. The victim told police he was asleep in his recliner when he woke up to gunfire.

He dropped to the floor and received help from others in the home until police arrived.

Four people told officers they were inside the home when shots were fired through the walls.

A juvenile was later found and charged in an unrelated case while in possession of one of the guns used in the shooting, according to court documents.

Police said social media search warrants and jail phone calls helped identify the suspect in the shooting.

The juvenile was charged with assault and wanton endangerment.
