LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man was arrested early Monday following an undercover Kentucky State Police investigation into alleged online child exploitation, according to authorities.
Billy Joe Harlow, 64, was taken into custody around 12:58 a.m. March 24 by the KSP Electronic Crime Branch.
Investigators said the case began after an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation identified suspected sharing of child sexual abuse material online.
According to KSP, a search warrant was executed March 24 at a residence in Milton, Kentucky. Investigators seized electronic devices and sent them to the state crime lab for forensic analysis.
Harlow was charged with 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a minor under 12 engaged in a sexual performance.
Authorities said additional charges could be possible as the investigation continues.
