LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville man was arrested after attempting to rob a southern Indiana store.
Clarksville Police said in a Facebook post Thursday Richard Smith was arrested around 5 p.m. after attempting to steal from the Lowes on Veterans Parkway. Officers approached Smith when he pulled out a gun while fleeing.
According to police, an officer was able to shock Smith with a Taser before any innocent people were harmed. Smith also has several warrants for felony theft.
He's being held at the Clark County Jail.
