LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville police said karma helped stop a would-be shoplifter.
According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, a man seen in surveillance photos at the Lowe's off Preston Highway tried to steal a generator earlier this month.
He was caught on camera loading it onto a cart and then walking out an exit without paying. Police said the generator is worth more than $1,000.
The man apparently couldn't fit the box in his car so he left it in the parking lot and took off.
