LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man is dead after being shot in Louisville's Buechel neighborhood Friday evening.
Officers were called to the intersection of Bardstown Road and Fegenbush Lane around 5:30 p.m., according to LMPD Spokesperson Aaron Ellis. That's not far from Breckenridge Lane and the Buechel Bypass.
Once on scene, police found a man inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound. He was taken to UofL Hospital where he later died, Ellis said.
Detectives are working to determine what led up to the shooting. LMPD's Homicide Unit is handling the investigation, but has no known suspects and has made no arrests.
