LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man died at the hospital after being found with gunshot wounds in a Wendy's parking lot in Louisville's Russell neighborhood.
Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Aaron Ellis said officers responded to the 1200 block of West Broadway around 11:30 p.m. Sunday on reports of a shooting.
When they arrived, they found a man in the parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds.
Officers and EMS attempted first aid on the man. He was transported to UofL Hospital and was pronounced dead a short time after arriving, according to Ellis.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting, but there are no suspects. Detectives are working to find out a possible motive, Ellis said.
