LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man was hospitalized after a shooting near St. Matthews Sunday.

Louisville Police responded about 6:40 p.m. Sunday in the 3700 block of Lexington Road on a reported shooting, department spokesperson Adam Sears said.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a man who had been shot. Sears said officers rendered first aid until EMS arrived and took the man to UofL Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating, but have no suspects and have made no arrests.
