LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was killed in an overnight shooting in the Algonquin neighborhood, according to Louisville Metro Police.
Police said the shooting happened around 2:45 a.m. Sunday morning on Dixie Highway near West Hill Street.
When police officers arrived, they found the victim inside a car. EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.
LMPD said after the man was shot, his vehicle crashed into a medical office in the 1600 block of Dixie Highway.
LMPD's Homicide Unit has not announced any suspects yet.Â
Officers and detectives are canvassing the area for any potential witnesses or video surveillance that may be in the vicinity of the incident.
