LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was taken to the hospital after being shot near the Portland neighborhood Wednesday morning, Louisville Metro Police said.
LMPD spokesperson John Bradley said police responded to a shooting near 26th and West Market Street around 11:53 a.m. When police arrived on scene, they found a man who had been shot multiple times.
The man was taken to UofL Health Hospital in downtown Louisville. He is expected to survive, according to Bradley.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating the incident, but there aren't any suspects.
