LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man and a woman were both arrested in Meade County after a two-month-old baby was found unresponsive in a hotel room.

Chance Baldwin, 25, and Felicianna Montez, 23, are both facing manslaughter and child abuse charges.

According to an arrest report, police were called to the scene of a two-month-child who was found unresponsive by Baldwin and Montez around 4:45 a.m. on Tuesday.

Baldwin and Montez both told the officers that they had been drinking alcohol around 8 p.m. and continued throughout the night prior to putting the child down for bed, only to wake up and find the child unresponsive in bed with them.

Police said their preliminary investigation and the medical examiner report led to both of them being charged.

Baldwin and Montez are also facing additional charges regarding an 18-month-old girl that was put in danger during these events.

Both are being held on $100,000 cash bonds and are set to appear in court on Sept. 25.

The investigation remains ongoing.
