LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Indiana State Police identified the Orange County Sheriff's Deputy that was shot Friday morning.
According to Indiana State Police, Zac Andry stopped around 12:30 a.m. when he noticed a car pulled over on the side of Highway 150 and Indiana State Road 56 near West Baden.
During the stop, ISP said Andry suspected criminal activity and asked Austin Schepers, 33, to step out of the car. That's when police said Schepers shot the deputy and sped off.

At last report, Andry was taken to UofL Health Hospital in downtown Louisville.
"He is armed and dangerous, so ... if somebody comes knocking on your door, don't answer the door if you do not know who it is," ISP Sgt. John Davis said.
He was last seen driving a silver 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix with the Indiana license plate CRT921. ISP said in an update around 8 a.m. Friday that Schepers' vehicle was located in the Orangeville area, which is about 10 miles north of West Baden.
