LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Germantown bar was broken into and robbed, according to its owners.
ShopBar, on Barret Avenue, said in a Facebook post that thieves broke into the shop Monday night. The business had previously installed metal bars to prevent such break-ins.
"Jokes on us I guess," the bar said in the post. "After installing metal bars we got robbed again last night. Week before Xmas we are beyond pissed off and disheartened."
The shop was closed Tuesday until further notice, but the bar will stay open.
ShopBar was broken into earlier this year. A suspect was identified in a 2021 break-in.
Louisville Metro Police said a burglary report was taken Tuesday afternoon and their investigation is ongoing.
