LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 25-year-old man was charged with murder weeks after a crash in Bardstown that killed a woman.

Jason Wurts was arrested Wednesday in connection to the June 21 crash. The Bardstown Fire Department was called to the 800 block of West Stephen Foster Avenue at 4:21 a.m. that morning to find a car crashed into a house.

Officials believe a black car left the roadway, first hitting another car that was parked at the house and then the house itself. Two people were found inside: Wurts and 27-year-old Morgan Williamson, who later died at the hospital.

Wurts is charged with murder, driving under the influence, speeding, criminal mischief and wanton endangerment.

His bond has been set at $500,000.
