LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A woman died after a crash in the Fern Creek neighborhood Wednesday night.
According to LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell, police officials as well as fire and EMS were dispatched to a vehicle collision around 10:53 p.m. on Bardstown Road at Iona Court, next to the Harley Center.
Investigation revealed that the woman was turning left onto southbound Bardstown Road when she was hit by another vehicle.
She received fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Mitchell.
The other car had four passengers inside, including the driver. None of them had injuries.
The LMPD Traffic Unit is investigating.
