LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A woman was taken to the hospital after being shot in McNeely Lake Park early Tuesday morning.
According to LMPD spokesman Aaron Ellis, officers were called to the 10500 block of Cedar Creek Road at McNeely Lake Park around 1:40 a.m. on a reported shooting
They found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound when they arrived.
She was transported to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Ellis said.
Detectives are working to learn what led up to the shooting and what a possible motive may have been.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating the incident, but there aren't any suspects.
